From a modest beginning and operating with one Batching Plant at Suleimat, Al Ain – UNIBETON now owns and operates 22 BATCHING PLANTS, a huge fleet of 350 TRANSIT MIXERS , 40 CONCRETE PUMPS, 18 STATIONARY PUMPS, 21 PLACING BOOMS, 25 TRAILORS and 18 CEMENT BULKERS. The recent acquisition of 52m Concrete Pumps into our fleet is a definite advantage to complex projects. Moreover, 10 CONTAINERIZED FLAKE ICE PLANTS fulfils the in-house requirements of ice for temperate controlled concrete.
Unibeton has developed, in collaboration with Cert, Globtel & IBM, a unique
cutting edge Fleet Management System, which fully controls the Planning and
Execution of its daily delivery Programs countrywide, through Area Command
Centers. The system is able to visualize, via GPS and Wi-Fi (Wireless
Networking), the entire Supply Process from Concrete Batching to the on-site
arrival of trucks & Concrete Pumping. Many potential logistical &
quality issues are foreseen by this system, allowing pre-emptive action to
optimize the timeliness of each delivery and the overall schedule. The system
automatically plans for behind schedule supplies to catch-up, by allocating
more resources & reducing the truck supply interval as required. In summary
it is an interactive, logical & efficient system, which makes a highly
dynamic & complex process into a user friendly one to manage.
