OVERVIEW
UNIBETON READY MIX is part of Al Fara'a Construction Group of Companies,
one of the leading ISO 9001:2000 certified companies in the field of
construction business in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Al Ain covering the whole
spectrum of construction industry for more than 25 years. Over the past few
years Unibeton has grown to be one of the "major league" concrete suppliers in
UAE.
During the year 2004 through to year 2005, Unibeton supplied around 200, 000 m3
of ready-mix concrete for the Dubai Municipality Road Network Projects
including, but not limited to, Interchanges 4½, 4¾, and 5. In addition,
Unibeton is currently supplying Al Sufouh Interchange (around the "Pearl"
development at the entrance of the Palm) and various new projects in Ras Al
Khour such as La Ville Contemporaine, part of a multi-billion enterprise the
size of Al Raha Beach.
During 2006, Unibeton will be supplying around 300,000 m3 of ready-mix concrete
for the Dubai Municipality Road Network Projects including Interchange 4¼, Al
Garhood Bridge and Ras Al Khour Interchange
Unibeton is a prominent ready-mix concrete supplier for the construction
projects currently in progress at the 8th wonder of the world,
the Palm Island, and has recently installed two state-of-the-art batching
plants on the Palm Island, with world class and leading-edge technology giving
superior batching accuracy and excellent output.
Unibeton is the nominated supplier for Asteco Development Management for all
their projects within the Palm Island, Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lake Towers and
Jebel Ali areas. These combined have a total requirement of over 1,500,000 m3
of ready-mix concrete.
As for Abu Dhabi, Unibeton is currently supplying around 250,000 m3 of
ready-mix concrete for one of the most prestigious road projects in Abu Dhabi,
namely the Sheikh Zayed Bridge
Unibeton has been acknowledged amongst clients and within the industry as the
country's leading exponent of Self Compacting Concrete with internationally
recognized experts within this field as part of our technical staff.
As a company, Unibeton continues to improve its management systems and is
certified to internationally recognized standards: ISO 9001:2000 for Quality
Management, ISO 14001: 2004 for Environmental Management and is also certified
OHSAS 18001:1999 in the field of Safety.
Locally Unibeton has won the prestigious Sheikh Khalifa Award for Excellence in
1999, 2000, 2002 and 2003 Presently, Unibeton operates over 10 "site based"
concrete batching plants (in addition to our main 11 fixed plants) and has a
demonstrated track record with these kinds of projects.
